It’s time to leave the tiny town of Alamogordo, NM, and head up to Santa Fe.

Alamogordo is actually a pretty great town. Decent scenery, nice and quaint and quiet, without being too tiny.

This is about what everything outside the city limits of Alamogordo looked like. Half the days you can actually see the mountains in the background of the picture. The other half the air is so full of dust from the desert that visibility is terrible. This is about what everything outside the city limits of Alamogordo looked like. It has two tubes of freon, and the panel tracks the sun by letting them expand as the sun moves across the horizon and push the surface in whatever direction the sun is facing. Very cool!
