Today I’m driving up to Wyoming! My Granny and Grandpa lived in Laramie, a tiny town about an hour north of Fort Collins.
There are lots of nice hills on the road to Wyoming. Wyoming is definitely one of the prettiest states I’ve ever been to. I have no idea what this means. Should I get out of the snow’s way?
I grabbed lunch, wandered around a bunch, saw there they used to live and visited the cemetery, and that was that. Laramie is a pretty tiny town with no points of interest, so that’s about all there is to do here.
Where was a pedestrian bridge over a railway loading yard. A total of twenty tracks pass under the bridge, along with a contraption designed for taking shipping containers on and off of railway cars.
On the drive back I saw a gorgeous scene so tempting that I pulled over and drove backwards up the shoulder to get to a good photo place, and stared at it for 5-10 minutes. It’s a storm miles and miles away, across a huge valley, over some mountains. The picture really doesn’t do it justice at all.
